The Age of Conversation
In early in 2007, Gavin Heaton and Drew McLellan challenged bloggers around the world to contribute one page — 400 words — on the topic of “conversationâ€. The resulting book, The Age of Conversation, brings together over 100 of the world’s leading marketers, writers, thinkers and creative innovators in a ground-breaking and unusual publication.
The proceeds from the sale of the book (cost less printing and publisher’s commission) go to Variety, the Children’s Charity. The editors of, and contributors to, this book have waived their rights to royalties in support of this charitable cause.
The Age of Conversation Bum Rush: Saturday, March 29, 2008
Saturday, March 29, 2008 has been tagged as The Age of Conversation Bum Rush. What does that mean? It’s simple. The authors, editors and fans of the book are joining forces to raise awareness and drive sales for the book on a single day. The goal is to drive the book up the bestseller list thereby boosting the amount of money raised to help this charitable effort.

The Age of Conversation 2
The Age of Conversation was successful enough during its first year that a second edition will be written in 2008 called The Age of Conversation: Why Don’t People Get It? I’m thrilled to be one of 275 bloggers who will be contributing to this book. You can read more about the upcoming book and the authors on Drew’s Marketing Minute.
