Blog Action Day 2008 is set for October 15th, and this year’s theme is poverty.
If you’re not familiar with Blog Action Day, it’s an annual nonprofit event that is meant to raise awareness of a specific issue by leveraging the reach of the blogosphere. A day is selected (October 15, 2008), and bloggers are asked to publish a post about the designated cause (poverty) on that date. The goal is to create an online discussion, which will hopefully lead to greater awareness, donations and more across the globe.
If you write a blog for your business or a personal blog, you can register your blog for Blog Action Day and help spread the word. You can also see a list of the other blogs that have already signed up for Blog Action Day on the Blog Action Day website.
