SMITHTOWN, NY (September 10, 2010) — The Long Island marketing and advertising firm, Sanna Mattson MacLeod, Inc. (SMM), is proud to announce that agency Vice President Tricia Folliero, has accepted the position of Marketing Director for the Long Island Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-LI). Folliero has directed SMM’s Recruitment Advertising Division since 2006.
SHRM is a global association of human resource managers, with more than a quarter-million members in 140 countries. The Long Island Chapter is one of the largest and most active in North America. Because of its high visibility within the HR profession, there were many applicants for this volunteer position. In extending the offer to Folliero, SHRM-LI board Chairman Douglas M. Silverman commented on her selection, saying that, “As the process continued, it became evident that our Chapter would gain a great deal from not only your technical expertise but your valued experience in the marketing arena.”
Tricia Folliero is an accomplished marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience in both product and recruitment advertising. The division she manages for SMM currently serves more than 100 clients, including such high-profile names as Getty Oil, Cablevision, Catholic Health Services, Visiting Nurse Association, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories, and Bulgari Jewelers.
