We are talking today about when you are scared to move forward but you know that you have to make a choice to stay or to leave!
Do you believe that sometimes things just aren’t meant to be? It’s a hard truth to accept, especially when you love somebody or something. It can make it harder to hold when the humane thing is to let go.
As businesswomen, we have paths filled with turns, twists, and lots of confusing moments. To love when you are running a business is often a huge task since there are so many things to get done!
The question to ask yourself is how can you feel connected at one moment and then so far away at another? The answer to that is still a mystery to me. Only God knows why things are happening the way they are, but you can trust that it’s all on purpose to make you a happier woman.
Perhaps we see what we want to see, and accept into our lives what we are willing to receive. What if you are trying to push something through that has already had its time?
It sounds like we are talking about a relationship, and we are— the one you are having with your business!
Did you realize that you are having a relationship with your business? And to have it birth prosperity in your life, you’ll have to understand it so intimately that the two of you dance together as you create a lifestyle that you truly want!
Nothing worth having comes without growth.
Relationship Lessons Between You and Your Business yo Make Things Easier:
- Never pretend that you want something from it that’s not true!
Otherwise, be honest that you want it to produce wealth and make a difference for people in the world. Often, as women, we act as if it doesn’t matter to us, but it does. You want to receive more and, therefore, you have to discover for yourself where you are willing to give more! Everything is an exchange of energy, and if you want to up the ante, you’ll have to give quality attention to that area of focus.
- Create a structure around your business for you two to spend more personal time!
Get out and socialize with other business owners and party a bit. Being too serious will kill the romance between the two of you.
Let go of people in your business that don’t align with the strength of where you are going. Your mind is a delicate place and a very influential playground for thoughts to grow into realities. People who are not aligned with your mission—let them go. Do not confide in ideas or dreams that you two are creating together. Falling in LOVE is EASY . . . Staying in love is another story!
- Commit to evolving the roles in the relationship.
Otherwise you and your business are going to grow, and what you can and want to give are going to change with the environment. If you are committed to the impact that you are making in the world, then changing roles should be easy.
Otherwise, there might be a time when you decide to sell your position off to another who can take it the next leg of the journey. Or perhaps you will give up the accounting role and have a CPA be responsible for managing the daily routine.
You see, your business is JUST like LOVE—you have to treat it with respect, give it time, and allow for things to shift as you grow together.
It’s not about controlling HOW you get there; however, it is about being flexible and loving along the way if you want to grow faster!
