Doing research for my new women leaders book has me exploring how far we have come from the days of being pleasers and martyrs. I certainly do see a change in the little girls who are being told they can do whatever they want; who see women running for office, women in the CEO seat in companies. Yes, we can still say there are inequalities, for sure. However, when you watch a five year old who “wants to do something special” and already knows she does not have to be defined by a man, well, something is different.
I just wonder if the sale of Cinderella and Snow White books will slump as this crew of five year old girls grows up!
