I had the absolutely best time interviewing an amazing, creative man, Geoffrey James who gives down to earth advice packaged with a sense of humor; a blogging Jon Stewart type. He asked me how much success I can brag about bringing self- awareness programs to the work world. My response was a quiet, “It’s been an exhausting uphill battle and invigorating at the same time.”
Needless to say he is a man of vision since he really “got” what the core work of becoming “pattern aware” is all about. Enjoy reading his analysis of the 13 behavior patterns we are all prone to bring to work (usually each of us is a combination of two or three primary ones with the rest showing up in moments of frustration).
In “Don’t Bring It to Work” there are ways to transform these annoying, ingrained repetitions to their positive opposites. First go to www.sylvialafair.com and take the pattern aware quiz. Call us for clarification or to answer other questions. We are on a mission to take the “politics” out of the office and personal exploration of what gets in the way of extraordinary work relationships is our contribution.

Thanks for the kind words. (Blush!) And thanks for allowing me to use your book for a post that’s proven very popular!
