The James A. Michener Art Museum will be hosting a traveling exhibition from the famed Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy, “Offering of the Angels: Treasures from the Uffizi Gallery,” that will feature 45 works including two large tapestries and 43 paintings by Renaissance artists from the 15th to 17th centuries. The exhibition, along with related programming, will be presented at the museum from Apr. 21 to Aug. 10, 2012. Furia Rubel has been assigned to handle media relations for the promotion of the exhibition. Gina Rubel is also serving as the museum’s liaison to Italian and Italian-American communities.
