As a partner, LMI Packaging Solutions has committed to purchase renewable energy as part of the company’s overall business strategy.
“We are pleased to join with other organizations in support of the U.S. EPA’s Green Power Partnership program,” said Vice President of Sales & Marketing Ron Wesel. “Our commitment to a triple bottom line business approach, which now includes renewable energy, demonstrates to our customers, business partners and employees that we live by our motto – Doing Right by Doing Good.”
We Energies is providing electricity generated from renewable energy resources such as wind, hydro and biomass. Energy for Tomorrow is nationally recognized as one of the premier renewable energy programs in the U.S.
“At LMI Packaging Solutions, we are making every effort to manage our resources wisely,” said Wesel. “A significant energy reduction initiative we enacted earlier this year allows our company to re-invest some of the savings we recognized in support of renewable energy. We are excited to be the first company within our industry to make this choice and we are pleased to be a leader in the sustainability movement.”
