According to new research by Prudential Financial, 53% of women are primary breadwinners. The Wall Street Journal reports:
“Female breadwinners are more likely than other women to maintain completely separate finances from their partners (27% versus 15%). And they are three times more likely to have financial accounts that their husband doesn’t know about, they said.”
