Feedspot has released its ranking of the top 100 small business blogs from thousands of top blogs in its index using search and social metrics. I’m happy to announce that Women on Business is included on the list!
Blogs were rated based on four criteria:
- Google reputation and Google search ranking
- Influence and popularity on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites
- Quality and consistency of posts
- Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review
The list includes several of my favorite blogs as well as some new ones I haven’t read yet. A few of my favorite blogs that are very useful to small business owners didn’t make the list. For general small business information, I recommend bPlans, The Franchise King, Small Business Trends (which is on the Feedspot list), Startup Professionals, and Social Media Examiner.
Of course, I’m a marketing and branding expert, so many of my favorites are marketing-related blogs! For example, I love the social media marketing-related content on Buffer’s blog and everything published on Neil Patel’s Quicksprout blog is great. The BuzzSumo blog is perfect for learning timely content marketing tips, and to learn about venture capital and startups, I love Tomasz Tunguz’s blog.
This list of the top 100 small business blogs is so full of awesome websites! It will be updated on a weekly basis with the most current data, so the ranking will always be up-to-date. I recommend that you follow all of the blogs and founders on Twitter and Facebook and be sure to add them to your feed reader! If you’re serious about being a successful business owner, these are the people and blogs to learn from. I’m honored that Women on Business was included on the list.
