The world of startup business has changed significantly in recent years, and BusinessMBA.org recently released an infographic that explains what’s hot in the world of startups in 2013.
Startup Success or Failure?
Here are some statistics about startups from the infographic, which will give you some perspective before you dive into all of the data:
- Chance of success for a first-time entrepreneur = 18%
- Chance of success for a second venture by an already successful entrepreneur = 30%
- Chance of success for an entrepreneur who previously failed = 20%
- Chance of a new firm or establishment still being in business in five years = Less than 1 out of 2
Those are some grim statistics, but for business people with an entrepreneurial spirit, the world of startups beckons.
